Another command that can be used is ‘stop-process (name of the program you want to forcefully stop)’, and you press Enter after typing in the command line as well.For example, if you want to stop the Opera program, then the command line will be ‘kill -processname opera,’ and you will press Enter afterward. Type in ‘kill- processname (name of the program you want to stop forcefully),’ and then press Enter. The names of the programs that are running will then show under the column entitled ProcessName.
